Education as the practice of freedom affirms healthy self-esteem in students as it promotes their capacity to be aware and live consciously. It teaches them to reflect and act in ways that further self-actualisation, rather than conformity to the status quo.

Student Testimonies

Hear from our alumni and current students about their transformative experiences at The Centre for Creative Education.

Being a part of CCE student was a experience, when I started I didn't know much about children but the lectures made it easy for me to learn, they created the safe space for all of us and not to be judgemental also to have that confidence to speak out. They always told us that there is no right or wrong. I will always be grateful to be part of CCE student. They showed us love and they taught us how to love and respect others. As a parent CCE helped me to be a better parent because learning about children gave me more knowledge of how to raise even my own children as well.

Early Childhood Development Graduate, Class of 2024

Being at CCE has been an eye-opening experience. It’s not just about growing as a teacher, but about growing as a person too. It demands hard work and honesty—but it’s so worth it. The intimate campus environment has given me the space to thrive. I’ve built meaningful relationships across departments—not only with fellow students, but with lecturers as well. I feel comfortable bringing my concerns forward, knowing I’ll receive thoughtful feedback. The opportunities for campus engagement have introduced me to interests I didn’t even know I had. In the classroom, the focus isn’t only on receiving information, but on learning from one another. We’re encouraged to question what we’re taught, which has led me to reflect deeply on the purpose of our education system. I’ve discovered that learning can be fun, creative, and full of possibility. I’m excited to step into the classroom and begin teaching.

Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase, Class of 2nd year student

My journey as a B.Ed student has been life-changing. I’m now in my third year (2025), and I’ve learned so much—not just about teaching, but about myself. This course has helped me grow into the kind of teacher I want to be: someone who creates a safe, creative space where all children, especially neurodiverse learners, feel seen and supported. As a mom to two boys on the autism spectrum, this degree means more to me than just a qualification. It’s personal. It’s about breaking cycles, opening doors, and showing my boys that anything is possible. Every module, every practical, every challenge has shaped me—and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. I’m excited (and a little emotional) thinking that next year is my final year!

Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase, Class of 2nd year student

What stood out for me during my years of study is safety and the sense of belonging that was created by the lecturers, especially in the first two years of my training. The safety made it easy for me to stretch beyond what I believe we're my limitations. Those two years offered me a space to learn more about myself and what teacher identity do I want to embody. My training was an emphasis that teaching is calling and to be a great teacher, one must begin with grounding deeply to who they are. For the most part I had a great and life changing experience at CCE.

Bachelor of Education Graduate, Class of 2024

The Eurythmy Training at the Centre for Creative Education immersed me in many artistic, social and pedagogical realms. It cultivates a love for humanity and the world. Through movement, the inner and outer are connected. It thought me what it means to feel at home in my body, to know myself and my place in the world. It’s a challenging path - finding meaning, beauty and love in a world filled with tension and sorrows - but that is why it’s so important. I owe so much to my teachers. Their guidance and support through this training leads their students into places they only dream of. With my deepest thanks.

B.A. Dance in Eurythmy, Class of 2024

My time at the Centre for Creative Education as a Eurythmy student was truly transformative. Over four incredible years, I had the opportunity to grow my skills and deepen my understanding of this beautiful art form. It helped me discover my passion as a Eurythmy teacher. The lecturers and supportive community, and the emphasis on artistic development allowed me to grow, not only as a teacher but also as a person I am forever grateful for the lessons learned and the relationships I formed during my studies. I wholeheartedly recommend the Eurythmy Training and the Centre for Creative Education to anyone seeking a similar experience.
