The purpose of this course is to deepen participants’ understanding of early childhood development from birth to three years, informed by Waldorf pedagogy and anthroposophical insights into the developing human being. The course supports caregivers and educators to create nurturing, developmentally appropriate environments that foster trust, imitation, healthy sensory development, and secure foundations for later learning. The course is divided into 5 modules. Each module is a short course.

The Centre for Creative Education (CCE) is proud to introduce the first course in its series of SACE-accredited Continuing Professional Teacher Development (CPTD) short courses.

Module 1: Foundational Knowledge for Working with Babies and Toddlers is designed for Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners, parents, caregivers, childminders, au pairs, therapists, and anyone committed to supporting children during their earliest years.

This course explores the critical importance of the first three years of life, providing participants with practical knowledge and evidence-informed insights to strengthen their understanding of early childhood development and enhance their professional practice.
